Travel to the most southern island in the Fiji archipelago is Kadavu where a wonderful surprise awaits. Located on the island of Ono, Kadavu, Koromakawa Villa offers a beautiful beachfront bungalow on a secluded, sandy beach, approximately 1 kilometer long. The twenty acre property is bordered on one side by 400 acres of native land and on the other by a pristine marine preserve. The abundance of oceanic life means there have been occasional sightings of Pilot Whales, Dolphins, Hammerhead sharks and even Orca’s. If you like Manta Rays, then we can almost guarantee you will be able to swim with them. Since there numbers vary from 3 to 14 we are "almost" certain you will see them. |
Kadavu is very definitely a "low key" destination and it's emphasis lies very much in "eco-tourism". The striking Astrolabe Reef is rated as one of the world's premier diving locations offering a great diversity and spectacle in coral structures and marine life. Divers and snorkelers can expect a diversity of fish life and corals of every conceivable colour and formation.
| Good news for scuba divers! Koromakawa is implementing the following enticement:
Each time the dive boat goes out (minimum of two divers), the charge is US$45 per person. After completing the first dive and the divers elect to make a second dive, the second dive is FREE! There will be no deviation from PADI safe practices for scuba diving and each dive is accompanied by a PADI instructor. Lets go diving!
